  5. Prepare the pot: Preheat your cooking pot and add cooking oil.
  6. Fry the onions: Put the chopped onions in the heated oil and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Cook the fish: Place the marinated fish and the mixture into the pot. Let it simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
  8. Monitor the cooking: Shake the pot occasionally to prevent the fish from sticking or burning.
  9. Finish and serve: After 10 minutes, turn off the stove. Serve with boiled plantains (ripe or green), yam, rice, or sweet potatoes.
